Large Blue & White Songbird Vase – Handbuilt Ceramic Folk Art Vase
A beautiful large handmade blue and white ceramic vase featuring a romantic songbird, roses and floral design, carefully illustrated by hand using oxides and slip decoration. This decorative stoneware flower vase is inspired by traditional Delftware pottery, folk art ceramics, and the changing seasons in Norfolk.
Each piece is hand built and individually painted, giving it a charming wobbly folk-art aesthetic while remaining sturdy and functional. The fine linework and delicate floral painting make this vase both a practical flower vase and a striking decorative ceramic art piece for the home.
The design is inspired by daily walks through the Norfolk countryside, where I often spot birds, plants and small creatures in the local wildlife. These moments influence the illustrations and storytelling within each piece.

Condition
There is a small hairline crack inside at the top of the vase. It is above the water line and the vase still holds water, but the price has been reduced to reflect this. The usual price for this piece would be £400
